I made 3 deposits in a sportsbook in the last few weeks and i see on my credit card which i purchased a 5 dollar fee 3 different times

Is anyone getting charged for using their credit card on a sportsbook as if it is an ATM withdrawal?
Its not a big deal, just something i never saw before, i called up to ask about it, and she told me money was wired so its a fee, she asked what i was using it for and i didnt tell her the truth, was i legally allowed to tell her?
