Yes i am a Yankees fan, but this is not a homer bet

We have arguably our most consistent starter in pettite and the Orioles are throwing a crappy pitcher against us in Guthrie


I am betting half my house on the Yankees -150

i think its gonna be an easy one, i never bet runlines in bases, but i think ML is a given

If you think Guthrie is a crap pitcher, then you obviously haven't seen him pitch this year. Period.

I actually think the Yankees will win, but seriously, if you're gonna make the biggest wager of the year, you should probably do your homework first.

Guys i know my baseball and i know that Guthrie has been doing well this year, but the guy is not what his stats indicate, i mean he had a +5 ERA in AAA for the 2005 season, and i am willing to bet anyone here that his ERA at the end of the year will be +4

This is the type of bet i love a crappy pitcher who starts off hot gets some love from vegas

His last 5 starts were VS KC, ANA, Col, Was and SD
not exactly hitting machines

You should cut your bet down to just your garage. No one in their right mind would make a huge bet on a team that is playing bad ball, losing 5 of their last 6 games. What makes you think tonight is the night the Yankees start playing better. Slumps can last more than six games. On second thought, just bet your mailbox since no money is comming that way.

Maybe so.....but....anyone who bets 'half their house' on anything is retarded, and cannot be taken seriously no matter how much the 'know baseball'.
