bet long enough and youre bound to shit all over yourself on a given day. wednesday was that type of day for me. tough loss on the cubs total to go along with two straight up 'mis-caps' (frisco and cleveland). the game i was most excited about was rained out. luckily, the same pitchers are taking the hill thursday. and im backing milwood again.

texas (+175)
for some reason, saying milwood was better than rogers had a shock effect on some. really surprised that guys are so high on rogers. hes a mediocre pitcher who performed way over his head last fall and thats going to lead to some outragerous numbers ... starting today. give me the rangers with, yes, the better pitcher imo.

cleveland under 9.5 (-120)
cleveland in their monthly 12:00 start time at home has been golden for unders the last 2 seasons. last night's game was a long, drawn out affair. lots of runs to go along with a rain delay. game didnt finish until after 11pm. now they come back exactly a half day later and take the field again. wouldnt be surprised to see a regular or two get the day off. and those that do play could underperform.

tampa (-133)
kazmir at the short price against a weak hitting sox lineup is almost obligatory. devil rays are a team where i wont even give them consideration when their 3/4/5 starters go. but when shields and kazmir take the hill, they always get a strong look. looking for the young tampa ace to step up and prevent a 4-game sweep at home.
