I’ve posted this in the Offshore Forum hopefully to get more Posters involved in an attempt to work together in a more professional manner.

While I don’t usually get involved with Pre-season I know plenty of good posters on here do, so while assessing week 1 together might unearth some good bets it will also be good practice for the season proper. Bookmakers are loath to change their style and are not known for knee-jerk responses, so talk of this draft pick, that free agent, this New coaching staff is all water off a Ducks back. Alterations to last Years prices will include an injury update and genuine feeling of decline or improvement but basically the Books will let the sharps tweak the early weeks. The spreads below are My prices based on last Years regular Games, perceived Home Field advantage and the public lean (as I’ve said before, my public lean has nothing to do with the usual nonsense posted) without any updating. The books have shown some updating in their Regular week 1 prices and I will try to bring them into the mix later.

Hopefully posters can add their thoughts and wisdom to the Thread and I will alter the spreads accordingly, then when the Books open their stall we should be in an instant situation to take advantage of any flaws. Of course the difference between these prices and the Books opening prices will tell a huge story.

So any contributions to the Pre-season week 1 will be much appreciated but please, no comments like, “I think the Jets should be –4, “ “Colts are a lock” Also while in other threads I welcome criticism of my views, in this situation I think it’s not worth the bother.
