had no chance for the double but had told Bagwell he wanted number 3000 to be a double. Tied the game, but ended the inning and a chance to take the lead. Selfish? Or ok given the milestone?

too bad his bullpen couldn't reward him by getting the team a win on this special night...they still might, but outlook not good

You mean he went for two just because he wanted a double on #3000?

It sure looked that way. Im sure everyone can judge for themself around 3000 times as it will be on espn at least that many times.

First base coach was waving him on. He was out by 4 or 5 feet

Biggio should pack it in... a great career but his strikeout to walk ratio is terrible now and he appears to be back off the juice that kept him going.

very selfish he had no shot at a double it was a routine single only thing he could do was take a big turn in case the centerfielder bobbles the ball maybe then try it but otherwise its a single
