I like what the Spurs did with their draft. Marcus Williams will be a solid player and they picked up a Brazillan who is 7ft tall..

Fuck their team defintely got better IMO..

Maybe they can get the twin towers back in san antonio.
I think that the level of play this year is gonna be incredible and cant really see that many teams having a record like dallas did last year.
Should be a hard season to bet on

Atlanta did brilliantly. They got the most NBA-ready player in the draft and the most NBA-ready PG.

I love what Golden State is doing as well. Wright fits really well and Lasme is an awesome inside presence, which they didn't have before. I don't know a lot about Belinelli, but if he is an athletic shooter, he obviously will fit right in.

I don't know what the Bulls are doing. Noah and Gray ... umm, what?

I'm not crazy about the Lakers draft either. Crittendon and the Asian are both high-risk, low-return picks.

Also like what Detroit (Stuckey will be a star, Afflalo good defender and shooter) and Utah (filled two biggest need areas) did.

Charlotte seems oblivious to the fact that the draft is supposed to help bad teams improve. Oh well.

I do not agree that Atlanta did great at all. They had two high picks so ofcourse should improve, but I can't really argue the Horford pick due to their needs but he will not be a great NBA player. And Law will be a disaster. His game does not translate to the NBA at all IMO. Cannot shoot that well, not able to keep the quick points in front of him. Cannot blow by his man. Just don't see it.

OK...its kinda tedious to say who the winner/losers are, until we see some results.

BUT...after watching the Draft...we can all agree there is one loser:

Steven A. Smith

good god...he was at an all time annoyance.
