Well I am going out of town on Saturday for the week so I will not be posting for the week more then likely... Unless they magically have internet and I can find time while I'm away... hoping to end with a winning day... or two if I can get tomorrow's up tomorrow night, if I am sober enough... GL Guys
On 6/7 I was 20-28 -12.28 Units... In 22 Days I have gone 30-18 +55.06 Units... Been a hell of a run lets keep it going....
CWS -105 (Contreras) 3 Units The team is finally gelling and playing like the White Sox of old. A lot of them are playing to stay in Chicago while others are auditioning for other teams. Word out of Chicago now is that Buerhle is staying and Contreras is on the move either way the White Sox are getting the big hit and the great starting pitching, and their bullpen is even getting people out right now. This team always had the talent to win ball games but they just hadn't put it all together. They figure if they can win nearly every game before the All Star game they may be able to keep the team in tact and hope to make a Cleveland Indians run of 2005 and catch the first place team, but they are hoping to over take them. This team should finally be a favorite in a game and I said they would sweep Tampa and they did and I think they sweep the Royals as well... This team's year is more then likely over but they aren't going to quit and will play their asses off. Konerko has caught fire and the rest of the team is getting the big time hits.... Expect another great performance from them tomorrow... Because they are feeling good after their four game sweep.
San Diego Padres -118 (Young) 4 Units One of the elite pitchers in the National League getting this kind of number is a can't miss. I know the offense of the Padre's is far from incredible but he should keep them in this game whether they score 0 runs or 10 runs and that is what I am betting on. As long as my starter out pitches their's I will win more then I will lose and I think that will be the case in this game. Young is just filthy and although Kuo is very capable he isn't deserving of this number against a pitcher who could no hit you on any given night with the stuff he brings to the ball park.
Minnesota Twins +110 (Johan) 5 UNITS I'm getting +110 with Johan Santana on the hill. I don't care who is pitching for the other team in all of baseball. Johan is a competitor and I have said it many times, he is hands down the best pitcher in the Major Leagues. The Twins offense is far from bad and Johan is going to shut down the Tigers. The second half of the season is practically upon us which means you mine as well mail it in when you are facing this guy. It is scary that I can say Johan hasn't been perfect this year and he has a 2.83 ERA... That is insane... Verlander is pitching great this year but he is not Johan Santana and their is no way when both offenses are very capable that the Tigers should be favored here... This will be a close game and the Twins bullpen is in another league when you compare to Detroits... Give me the Twins 10 out of 10 times in this match up.
Texas +190 (Wright) 1 Unit Wakefield should never be giving a number like this....
Milwaukee +114 (Gallardo) 2 Units Huge series can see the Cubs choking in this spot. Don't think they are better then this Milwaukee team and the pressure all season will be on the Cubs because of their market and payroll and I just don't think they get it done. Brewers are the better team and giving me this number with this stud on the mound. You got to be kidding me, and I know the Cubs are hot.
