Usually when there is a double header, two teams split a win...I just don't see mets winning a gm2. I think Hammels' gonna pitch very well today. So, Mets should be able to take gm1 against phillie. However, I'm really scared the fact that Mets haven't been able to produce lots of runs lately(avg 3.9 runs past 10 games) but Phillies were able to produce ave 5.9 runs....don't want to bet over even though phillies' pitcher has 94.50 era.... you never know what can happen...so if you guys betting on this game, please let me know what's your choice....right now, I'm leaning towards Mets...and I don't think Mets' bullpen will not collapse again...
I guess not. I guess ppl think the line is way off and that the Phillies will win. Well it's hard to beat any team twice in a double header, let alone a team with the caliber of the Mets and I totally agree with you I see Cole Hamels getting the V in the 2cd game so I took the Mets in game 1. I mean the guy had 1 bad outing n people think the line is fishy, cmon. The Phillies are a great team and at home they are never going to be a BIG dog. IMO.
Imo, the mets will not let the sweep happen. They already got swept at home the last series they played against this team and have revenge on their minds. If anything i think the mets might sweep philly, but since double headers usually split the mets have a better chance of winning the game 1. just my 2 cents. Gl!
