Official Yanks Fade Thread....

So it was mentioned (by journeyman) that the Yanks thus far this year are a negative 21 units...

This is obviously due to the public hammering lines like -180 all of the way to -200 like the A's game tonight or like a ton of the orioles and rockies games in the past weeks....

There is a ton of money fading this and past Yanks teams and in this thread we shall get to the bottom of it...

I'm with you on this.

I've always been a fan of fading big public favorites like the Packers and Cowboys in the NFL. I'll try to do some digging on those teams. Why just make money on MLB?

I personally think we wait till near close to buy the A's... But I would like everyone elses opinions...

Haha, assuming the play tonight counted then you would be alright counting the rest of the season?

Well they're already down over 20 so it may not be the best time to jump aboard...they're probably due for a 5-6 gm win streak , yes I said 'due' lol

If you plan on playing this all season , from here on out...it may not be worth it...if the Yanks win 90 games you will lose money...just something to think about.....Sure it would be great to play if you started in April and were already up 20 units.

That would be my main concern as well.. Also don't the Yankees have a habit of starting off seasons slow?

It's not just about the Yankees doing well. It's about the price. The Yankees could do rather well from here on out but if the price is against them you will win by fading them. If they win 60% of the rest of their games but their average price is worse than a certain amount you will win.

QL has it nailed... the reason to own a thread like this pretty one is to demonstrate how over valued they consisitently are... today is no different.

I would line it at a pick it opened around +130 and has actually moved against the A's...
