Late money isn't always smart money or sharp money.
I agree...but the fact that the majority of the books were trying to improve the A's line since it opened, even though Gaudin is on the mound...was suspicious in itself. Cris and Global were the last two books to push the A's line over the opening number...so now all the books want us on the A's....then the Yankees RL drops 10 cents(not to mention the ML line jump)...Its pretty much a no brainer from there...
I think I see your reasoning. I was seeing it as a lot of money being bet on the Yankees late which happens frequently. Therefore I wasn't reading anything into since this happens.
I'm following line movements in my thread as well. It seems suspicious when a team gradually gets a better line. It's seems as though the books want you to bet that team. But those teams are winning at 60% since I've been tracking (last couple weeks). Odd, isn't it?
Good luck today.
I think I'm beginning to think my reasoning has no basis in reality at all....
2-0 A's...Gaudin mowing them down...and the yanks don't come back against anybody these days...
Late money isn't always smart money or sharp money.
Even if the Yanks were to lose today (don't count them out), 1 game isn't enough to show whether you're right or wrong. You know how things can bounce the right way or the wrong way in baseball causing momentum to change.
