Nobody is a bigger Hoffman fan than me. But i find it amazing every time out that he gets guys out. He is throwing 84-85 tops (despite the gun at Petco giving him 87) and he really only throws 2 pitches. Every 1st pitch is a fastball that he attempts to put on the outer 1/3 of the plate. However, the All-Star game was a perfect example that against truly great hitters, he has his struggles. He's only human.
