He's pretty much retired. On the last PPV I ever ordered, they had the Oldtimer Battlr Royale. He ended up winning because they were afraid that if he was thrown over the top rope, he would break his hip.

He was a qualifier in the '68 Olympics, so i'm going to guess that's he's a minimum of 60.

I love the 2nd slap to the security guy.

They played this on the Howard Stern show the other day. My understanding is that he is slapping his manager. That's why he keeps saying something about "why did you bring me here?"

Yup. 64.

I was at the Garden the night he beat Backlund. I was also there a month later, when Hogan took the title from him in like 45 seconds. Before PPV, they used to have a main event night at the Garden once a month.

If I remember correctly, McMahon wanted to go in a different direction and wanted Hogan to have the title. Back then, "good guys" didn't wrestle "good guys", so they had the Shiek as like a bridge from Backlund to Hogan.

What did he qualify the Olympics for?

If I remember correctly on him, he was born in the USA (Pittsburgh) I think, he got caught with drugs a few times, speaks better English than he portrayed (obviously if he was born and raised here), liked to part etc. I might be mixing up some of this but some is definitely true. He always put on a good show especially with Sgt Slaughter.
