I have a friend who can do this trick just like that.

He can change the story every single time he does the trick and flip any combination of cards he wants just like the guy in the video.

I offered my friend $500 to teach me, but he refuses.

BTW, it was with my deck of cards. They were regular cards.

It was insane.

When I was in college I was in the same dorm as a semi-professional magician. He fanned out a deck of cards and asked me to point to a card. He took the 2 cards right next to my card and added them up and divided by 2 to get the average. For example, one card was a 4 and the other was an 8 which would average a 6. He then pulled out the card I chose and it was a 6.

He then repeated it and I pointed to a card. He took both cards right next to mine and one was a 3 and one was a 4. He said, uh oh, 3 and 4 adds to 7 and divide by 2 leaves us with 3 1/2. He then pulled out the card I pointed to and it was the 3 1/2 of spades!!! It was a specially made card just for the trick.

Does anyone have a clue how this is done? Obviously the cards are never shuffeled, but how does he make it look like they are?

Saw something very similar to that done live one time. It's amazing watching them do it. Guys like this are probably not a good addition to your home games.

That is a good trick, but I think this one a friend emailed me is even better. Maybe its old, and you guys have all seen it, heres roughly how it goes.....

A page opens with David Copperfields face, then below that, they deal out to you 5 or 6 playing cards, face up. You are then asked to just silently think about one of the cards. ......Any one....for about 5 seconds.

Then you click on a button to see if the card you were thinking about disappers from the others.

It always does.

How the hell does that work?

I have it in an email, but cant post it here, because I dont know how to convert it from a microsoft powerpoint slide show. But maybe a moderator can receive it, and post, if its worth it.
