Uhhh, Snell and Gorzellany should have made it way before Sanchez. Sanchez just recently got his average over .300, he has 1 HR and 28 RBI's......now he is reining NL Batting Champ though so I guess that carried some weight. The funny thing is, that idiot of a manager Jim Tracey had Sanchez sitting on the bench for the first 1-2 months of the season last year. It wasnt until Joe Randa got hurt that Sanchez started playing everyday. Then when Randa was ready to come back, Tracey actually said it was Randas job again. LMAO!!! Someone mustve stepped in form the organization b/c Randa never did get his job back. Funny though, I still have no idea how Jim Tracey still has a job.
Yeah, I though Snell or Gorzy would have made it from the Pirates, and if it wasn't a pitcher then my guess would have been Nady. But at far as SkinsRaj said about better plays being snubbed, there is only one and that's Young. He's got a better record and ERA than Webb (8-5, 3.05) whereas Gorzy is 8-4, 3.04 ERA. Zambrano's got 1 more win but he's got a much higher ERA. But yeah the all-star game is a joke. I mean look at Reyes numbers against Hanley Ramirez or Jimmy Rollins. All Reyes got are steals, Hanley leads the league in hits, and Rollins has monster power numbers for a lead off man. Like 14 and 49 or something. Also Rentaria, I mean c'mon. These 3 are better than the 2 that made it. It's a joke this thing. The only show I'm going to watch is the home run derby, that is if anyone decent decides to go.
