Guys, we're down to the latest and greatest 8.... congratulations on making it this far and continued good luck in the quarter-finals. Thanks again to the unfortunate group just eliminated...you guys had a nice run and I hope you all enjoyed the contest.

A reminder to those remaining, this round will be a 2-part affair, starting with 3 play dates this week (Monday-Wednesday) and the final 4 dates next week (Thursday-Sunday). Once again, my apologies for stringing it out any more than need be.

i got shafted in this one big time as u can see finishing in the top 5 in the standings and not advancing. had i been playing some other shmuck i woulda had another two wins under my belt that JOH made me lose. no problem though, we all know i had this thing in the bag without the penalty.

im lookin forward to another one of these after the allstar break

Wow....could you be a bigger sore loser? You keep saying you had this thing in the bag, yet you're not even in the top 5 in units among the 16 guys left in the contest.

Hopefully your senior year in high school goes well, though.

You know what's funny about this...had you been paying attention (which you obviously did very little of in this contest) you still could've won your match last night. After Skinsraj won the Seattle game, all you needed was one winning play on the late game (Min/Det) but you were too caught up in how harsh and unfair the treatment was you received, oblivious to the fact that you still had a chance to win and never made a play. No sympathy here pal. Good riddance.

Who cares, dumbass? This is a head to head competition. All I have to do is beat my opponent. The week before last, I only picked two games over the weekend because my opponent had a bad week.

You're barely a unit ahead of me for the length of the contest, and, like I said, it doesn't matter because you're out and i'm in.
