Jeff Weaver is a monster. Really hope the resignation of Grover doesn't hurt the team going forward on this killer run they are having. Now watch us get swept by the freakin Royals...

DreamWeaver has been filthy of late. I'm happy for the guy. Hope he keeps it up.

Lets hope it doesn't hurt 'em. M's playing some great ball, my man Jose was clutch yesterday.

I can't wait till the real reason why Hargrove got fired comes out. A few years back Ichiro told the organization that he didn't like him, and he's gonna be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, so it'd be REALLY interesting if that was a reason.

Could've just been that the pressure just got to him, got too stressed, since he made the decision at the end of their long losing streak, and he was on the hot seat heading into the season. Who knows.

Go Nats West.

The Ichiro theory is a definite possibility. Hargrove said in a press conference before the game that he lost all passion for the game and really started to think about resigning about two weeks ago. Even with a nice 8 game winning streak now going on, it still wasn't exciting him in anyway. One interesting comment on the post game as I was driving home was that maybe all those one day trips to Cleveland lured him to go back to want to spend more time with his family. His wife and kids live back in Cleveland and I guess his daughter just graduated high school (rumor says shes a total fucking bombshell that people would love to fuck her mouth) so his wife would be alone next year as the daughter the youngest in the family is going off to college. Makes some sense to me...

Either way, the timing of this couldn't be any worse. Could he really not wait until the break in a week? Must really not like being a manager anymore...

That's interesting stuff. If the guy wants to be with his family (as he says he does), then so be it. Hope he enjoys retirement.

A manager with no passion is a bad manager, though, so if he truly had lost it all, it's good he's getting out now. Hopefully things work out for the M's.
