I was back in London last week and ended up in an Indian Restaurant with some Second generation Indians in the mix. I was amazed the way they treated the staff, calling them Pakkie wasters and low life. Ive seen this in London before with Blacks and Irish, its almost as if their embarrassed by the last generation. So while most White's respect the new politically correct attitudes towards racism by not singing Baa Baa Black Sheep and banning Gollywogs off their Jamjars, there lurks an even more complicated racism in how do you punish a Pakkie for calling a Pakkie a Pakkie.

Just to make this thread legit as far as Sports, why is it an African can run miles and miles, an American Black cant run past 400Mts yet they call themselves African Americans:ughhh: Imagine the laughter if I went around calling myself English Irish

Don't Indians and Pakistanis hate each other?

I'm sure many do. The countries have been in conflict and, at times, at outright war over the Kashmir region since the mid 20th century.

I'm sure there are other sources of tension between the countries as well but, as we all know, people don't need such a tangible reason to hate each other.

This thread reminds me of the conflict I have seen a number of times between Jamaican blacks and other blacks. One says the other is lazy and each feels the other makes the whole race look bad. Stereotypes abound.

Racism does go off in odd directions these days, no doubt about it.

oh boy,

once upon a time, India was a part of the Great English Empire. Then along came a man by the name of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.

Gandhi led India to independance. The country was divided into two parts, Pakistan and India. yada yada yada... yada yada yada yada.... India hates pakistan, pakistan hates india... yada yada... nothing new and it is not getting complicated it has always been complicated. If it were easy then it would be easy to fix.
