I have the Blackberry 8700. Rarley use it as a phone. Mostly to bet and for ESPN auto refresh updates. I love it. The only negative of the Blackberry for me is trying to type numbers. Holding down the shift key and hitting the numbers where they are located, sometimes is a pain in the ass.
It has many other featuyres, but unfortunately , I do not use them.
As far as T Mobile goes, Jdog is right. It is all where you are. But I checked their service area on the web, and spoke to someone in the store and my zip code had great coverage. But that is soooo not the case. Then after buying it, they tell me, "well you know, it doesn't always work indoors" WHAT the fuck????????? What kind of service is that?
And as far as their customer service goes, I had many bad experiences...right from the start, when I paid for overnight shipping and it never showed up.
Told me my card was declined. Yet they charged my card twice.
I got switched around and around and around from one rep to another until after two hours and 3 supervisors, they figured out what happened.
Then I was told I could do the pay as you go data plan for one dollar a day, and if I didn't use it, I would not be charged.
I found out quickly enough that that was not the case.
So I bought the Blackberry.
Still have the Sidekick. "They" told me they are going to be expanding coverage in my area in the next year. So I am holoding onto it in hopes this is true. Because when it works, it is awesome.
