I put this out in another thread, but what is special about this team.......nothing imo, teams like the braves, yanks, dallas cowboys etc are living off the past.braves did not make the playoffs last year and imo will not again this year and like i said before, will not make the playoffs again with cox as manger, so we will see..................ck

There are about 15 teams more overvalued than the BRAVES.

They are only -400 in ROI%. Not too bad.

separate emotion from this decision and examine personnel, as a phillies fan, im deeply disturbed to say this, but braves have restocked nicely and quietly.

between escobar, and saltamachia this team has some clutch newbies that can flat out hit a. andruw jones, one of the lynch pins of lineup hitting like .199 and they are still in the thick of it.

kelly johnson, renteria, both joneses, escobar, salty, francour, mcann.....this team is not one to make money off fading IMHO yet.

and i would totally love to see this team collapse, i just dont see it happening unless the pitching caves in.

how does cox being manager hurt the braves?
great call btw, they are not in playoffs position right now, way to go out on limb. even if they dont make the playoffs, they will be in the hunt all season long.

Ck I normally respect your opinion.. But to fade the big name teams is just a stupid comment. Thats like saying Fade UNC in basketball or Ohio St, Florida, and Notre Dame in Football just because they are who they are. They may not have winning records every year but they are not going to go terrible ats every year either. The braves will probably not make the playoffs this year but they will finish no further then 3rd in the division. If your fading anyone it should be a team that will finish last.

Drunkn what up today.......also have a great 4th.we are on the same page as i have the braves 3rd this year too.no i didnt mean fade a team because of a big name always but there are yrs to fade these teams.i know when you jump on people teams like the yanks, braves or cowboys you will get people mad.but sometime you got to go against the people choice to bring home the money.again to you and your family have a great and safe 4th there.gl.......ck
