I'm not saying he's a great player. But isn't one of the most vital bench players of all time. And when it comes to Clutch Shooting can you think of anyone with a better hit/miss ratio?

The one big difference, Horry is usually the third option , even at the end of a game and is usually spotting up somewhere semi open....Jordan had 2-3 guys watching his every move in the final seconds.

What Horry has done has been simply amazing and he's done it with so many teams, what a remarkable career...Hou-L.A.-S.A.

He was also with the suns for like a month maybe?
He hated it there and I remember when he throw the towel in Danny Ainges Face.It was a great shot.It opened up in midair and covered his face competely.
I wonder how his career would have gone had he stayed with the suns instead of Lakers/Spurs.
He was a great shooter at Alabama but I dont recall any monster buzzer beaters or gigantic clutch threes while he was here.

He was with the Suns but didn't have any memorable clutch shots in the NBA finals with them....he added a couple more memorable shots this past post season, not bad for a guy who avereaged 3 points a game . Horry has only averaged more than 10 PPG in 3 NBA seasons and they were all a long time ago...

Hes had some game winners. I'm not really impressed.

There are lots of superior clutch players who take the game over down the stretch and cant be stopped in the last 2 or 3 minutes. Horry isnt one of those guys.

His hit on Nash was pretty clutch as well, although not in the same good category.

That shot cost the Kings their one title ...remeber that game well LA was down big and came all the way back and won it , it literally took the entire game to come back....Vlade should have grabbed the ball.

Exactly. Or if youre going to bat it out it needs to go a little further than the 3 point line. lol.

The Derek fisher play will always be my fav lakers clutch shot. .4 catch and shoot baby

reggie Miller.... End Of Story!!
Yup. That is true. He is the greatest. Followed by Jordan. Then Bird.

Damn it thanks for posting that. Brings back such good memorys of Reggie. Loved watching him play.

Love the stories of Bird telling his defender the exact spot he was going to nail the game winner, and then doing it.

I love bird. But it's gotta be Reggie. Jordan and Bird can not drill 3's at will like this down the stretch in big games. There just isnt a better weapon when you are down than a great 3 point shooter. (or refs in your pocket *cough* Wade *cough*)

I don't care what level you have ever played hoops at, but what Reggie did in NY is just the sickest thing i have ever seen. Hitting a 3 and then taking the ball from well inside the arc, taking it out and then putting the dagger in. Crazy!
