see if you can locate the Cobra's throw in the '79 All Star Game. Best gun I have seen, period.

Unfortunately it isn't on youtube, but Bo Jackson's throw from the wall in Seattle is insane. Throws out Harold Reynolds trying to score from first on a double. He goes into the corner, picks the ball up, basically doesn't step and throws it on the fly to Bob Boone and guns down Reynolds. If you ever get the chance to watch Jackson's Sportscentury or Beyond the Glory, I think they show it on both.

roberto clemente did that more than once. the guy was an highlight film from right field. get the film from when he slid into the bullpen fence, got up and threw the runner out at the plate.

I once saw Andruw Jones throw out a guy at the plate who was tagging from third from about 6 feet in front of the warning track in dead center at Turner Field.

Biggamer3, great clip. What a gun.

This has been my favorite play of the last 4-5 years. I just love it so much.

Ichiro makes the catch.

holy sh*t, I had never seen that play. I am having no luck with videos today. I wish I could find one of a Rondell White catch about 10 years ago. I think Larry Walker hit it, White covered a ridiculous amount of ground and then dove head first into the wall (literally) and slammed into the wall while horizontal and before hitting the ground. He ruptured his spleen and/or lacerated a kidney on the play. I still think it is the best catch I have ever seen.

Dang it. I want to see it now. I have no doubts you know what youre talking about. I tried 'Rondell White' on youtube and only thing that comes up is some hit he had.

The HR robbing catch is one of the most dramatic plays in sports to me. Afterall, didnt a player die trying to make one when he ran into a wall?!

I like the one Hunter had to rob Bonds in the all star game about 5 years ago. Wow he really got up high for that, did Torri.

There was a play where Ichiro guns out a guy going from first to third on a hit and the announcer screams "and Ichiro throws him out with something from StarWars!!!" It was one of the hardest lazers I've seen thrown and the call was great. I'd love it if someone could dig that one up.

Vladamir has a gun from OF like that too.

Its funny how few players have the talent to throw like that. But its true.

Most of the time they hit the cut off or throw is horridly off the mark.
