I've got better things to do then go to car shows/clubs and hotrod events - but I will wax (zaino) my cars ever three months and it takes some time - as in - way more than an hour - I have a Vette and Escalade - why would I want them to look like shit? - like the above poster said - if you have a KIA why would you ever clean it - I'm also a poster at corvetteforum and ferrarichat (maybe that makes me somewhat of a degenerate).

Not a degenerate at all....just another who has nice shit and likes to keep it that way.I've been known to spend 8 hours on mine and keep them in a carpeted,temperture controlled garage,but I guess different strokes for different folks.

I knew this guy spent all his time and money in Tractor pulling contests near StJoe MO. Dont get it. But I like golf and still suck after playing 30 plus years.

I like clean cars, and keep mine that way, but dont spend the time doing it myself anymore, when there are great detailers just 100.00 away. They do a better job, and really like doing it. Black cars need to be polished with a soft wheel, and Im not good at it, and dont want to become good at it!

I dont see a problem with anyone wanting to polish their ride, its the man who is polishing his ego that I avoid.
