Ever done it?

And if so did you find anything that had to do with you?

I signed a guest book at my cousin's son's college web site and put in my email address so he could contact me. A couple months ago I googled my name and it showed up in a "Transexuals in Tempe" web page. I emailed the web site and threatened legal action if they didn't remove it. They said it was a mistake and removed it.

I don't need spam web sites that gleaned my name from another web site to show up as a transexual in case a future prospective employer googles my name. On the other hand, there is a "transgendered" individual that works for my company that has "her" name all over google so figure that one out.

LOL, the top google hit on my name has trans-inferences too.

Mycroft most often goes under the name "Mike", but also adopts a female persona on occasion called "Michelle", and appears in public as "Adam Selene", ...

My name turns up a ton of junk and people, 99% of which are not me. Hiding within too much information and misinformation is sometimes easier.

If you're a privacy nut, just go change your legal name to John Smith.

I get some of my high school sports stats from like 7 years ago when I was a senior. Also some crew stats from when I was in college (wasn't good enough to play basketball).

Nothing comes up for me. My name is somewhat common. There was even an MLB pitcher with my exact name.

Although, I searched a girlfriend I had been seeing for a few years, and I told her what happened. She wasnt too thrilled with what came up.

I have an uncommon last name so my firm's website comes up with a bunch of other crap, some related and some unrelated. The only entry my wife's name brings up is my father's obit.

Spill the beans man.. This thread has just stepped up a notch
She cut class with some friends and they set a flag on fire in the auditorium when she was 15 at the time it happened I think (I'm guessing). It got out of hand and started to burn down the school. They managed to pin it all on her. She had to move out of town. And when I told my mom who I was dating she knew exactly who it was, because it was all over the news at the time when it took place.

When I told my GF that when I searched her name her court stuff came up, she wasnt too happy. Because she had totally assumed it was behind her 100%.

This was like 5 years ago though. And no she wasnt under 18 when I started to see her.

"Oh youre seeing her? I remember that. That poor girl." That was her reaction.

I mean there were other people involved. They could have done something even if it was her.

But she's married now and has a kid. 2 Things I will never do. lol.
