I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and takes a little time to reflect how great of a country it is that we live in here in the USA. Yeah, we might have the dumbest world leader in power right now, but that doesnt change the fact that we do have a wonderful place to call home. God bless the US, and prayers go out to the brave soldiers across the world.

Chicago Cubs -1.5 +110 (2) ~ The Cubbies are rolling. The Nationals have had a terrible time trying to get runs up on the board. Even on the 4th of July, the Cubs should prove to be too much here. Hill has been wonderful on the road, as he tends to not overthrow the way he does at home. Pinella wont let his players sleep on their nice run. The Cubs get Ramirez back in the line-up today. Chico has been great his last 2 starts, but a cold night in Cleveland and any game against Pittsburgh are easier spots than this one. I like the Cubs to keep it rolling, and Ill save the $60 on the RL.

Reds +105 (1) ~ The Giants are 2-14 when Cain takes the hill even though he has thrown well. The guy is just hexed, and the Giants cannot score runs when he is on the mound. Bonds probably sits out the day game after a night game, and I dont think the price will get better than this. The Reds seem to win these 4th of July and other holiday games. Belisle is sort of a mess, but Ill take a chance on him here.

Pirates -110 (1) ~ Snell got snubbed and he looks for revenge here. With a 2.26 ERA at home, Snell has really taken to PNC Park. Vargas is tough, but is the type of pitcher that Pittsburgh has gotten to this year. He isnt over-powering and keeps the ball around the plate.

Padres O 7.5 (1) ~ Because everything in this game seems to be on the Under. 9 of the Padres last 11 have gone under, and Young has been simply amazing this year. However, we have Mr Johnson on the bump for the Marlins. That is enough for me. Padres should put up 5+ on him, and then Ill take my chance with the Marlins bringing a run or two across the board.

Red Sox -1.5 -115 (1) ~ Red Sox on the 4th of July against the Devil Rays. The knuckleball can be really tough in the afternoon, and this is the Drays first look at a knuckleballer this year. Lots of these young guys havent seen it before, and a 10-15 mph wind will help to get that bitch floating.

Tigers -1.5 +160 (1) ~ Kenny has been great since coming back, and while others are getting tired he is only getting stronger. Detroit is due to get their bats rolling again, and a think this is the spot they do it. Detroit is 2-7 in their last 9 home games, and we all now this team is not that sort of team. I think the Tigers get it rolling in a big way.
