Wimbledon tennis to be extended to Monday July 9th

Due to all the rain delays, play at Wimbledon will have to be extended beyond the usual close and so official matches will be played on Monday July 9th...according to the Betfair prop with odds of -357 for Monday play.

They still haven't finished the first round of some of the doubles matches. One more day of rain and it's a lock.

(20:15, 3-July) For the avoidance of doubt, an official match is any tournament match sanctioned by Wimbledon. This includes Mens, Womens, Juniors, Seniors and all Doubles and Singles.

Looks a lock to me as well. Would have thought Yes would be about 1.10 not 1.33

Play is suspended again yet the line for play on Monday has moved to -140. Is there something else afoot?

Further clarification - Any play that may occur at venues other than Wimbledon will not count for the purpose of this market

Aha, a look at the weather forecast shows heavy rain for Monday and so likely no play even if it is scheduled!!!!

they are right on course to finish on Sunday. There are 4 quarter final matches to be played tomorrow (two will have started or finished by the end of today if the rain allows) and then two semi finals to play on Saturday and one final to play on Sunday.
