i was at the game and it was a beautiful shot. soriano drifted back and could do nothing except watch.

and austintx05, you won't be talking shit in a year or two. once "w" leaves town and the nationals are in their new stadium DC will rise. so go rope some steers and queers.

No shot here, just statng facts. Detroit a contender didn't want him and Washington, not a contender, picked him up.
Is Young mentioned in the same breath as Griffey, Bonds, Sheff, Howard, A-Rod, Pujols...didn't think so....so now you can see why I made my comment...btw...no one cares if/when they get a new stadium.

i don't think anyone was comparing young to griffey, a-rod, etc. the guy is having a dream season for a player with his limitations so give the man a break. as far as the new stadium is concerned that will allow the team to actually spend some money and hopefully develop into a contender.
