Considering Rogers won twice this season since coming back and Cleveland on 6 wiining game streak, majority on Detroit tonight after yesterday loss, don't any of you think maybe its a trap since the books offer relatively high price for what seems to be easy win for Detroit tonight?i am leaning on Detroit too but since the odds seems little high for Detroit i have 2nd thoughts, anyone?

seems too easy for some reason, I'm thinking over on Detroit team total as they have lit up Westbrook every time they've faced him.

FWIW ..........

Indians are 0-5 in the last 5 meetings when Westbrook faces Rogers.
The line has scared me off the game ....one of the most picked games on all the forums I read too ......bol

just trying to figure out how detroit looks 'too easy' considering how westbrook is capable of pitching when he's healthy. indians had him pegged as the #2 starter behind sabathia and he has been solid since coming off the disabled list (as has rogers). why wouldnt this game be an absolute toss-up between each team's de facto #3 starters right now?

hes been cleveland's most reliable starter, even more so than sabathia, for the last few years.

as for tonight's game, flip a coin. two pitchers finally facing stiff tests after facing two weak offenses in the previous outings right off the disabled list. rogers and westbrook are both going to be tested.

how do u figure hes been better than sabathia? he may get a good amount of wins, but he also gets a good amount of losses. he's been reliable at getting decisions in starts.

You really mean that?

i can say that without hesistation. trust me, this has nothing to do with him being the best pitcher on the staff (he's nowhere near carmona and sabathia in pure stuff). but westbrook has been the one pitcher who has been ultra reliable and very tough to 'hit hard' over the years. carmona still has a bit of a fragile psyche and sabathia has finally (or so it appears) grown up and become the ace he was expected to be. but cleveland gave good money to westbrook for a reason: he keeps them in damn near every game, he doesnt walk guys, and he can be counted on to take the ball and go deep in mosty starts. i should add that i think the indians lose this game tonight. i thought prior to the series that cle/det would split the first two before letting verlander and sabathia decide the series tomorrow. but westbrook is a big part of the cleveland rotation, esp if they want to make the playoffs.
