yes. boating accident. he had two separate wakes; one for his family and one for all of his rx friends. wilheim started a foundation in his name. flags outside rx headquarters flying at half mast today.

Truely was a sad moment in rx history.

I thought it was most touching when Wil had a moment of silence yesterday between 3:28am-3:30am EST, in which nobody was allowed to post.

We are also observing a day of abstaining from betting. But we all said "fuck it" at about 11am and pounded the Twins in his honor instead. Audible at the line of scrimmage way of honoring his memory. Just the way he would have wanted it though.

i think the classiest move to honor his death was made by his hometown chicago cubs.

in the midst of a pennant chase, they took the day off today in their 6-0 loss to the nationals and chose not to show up at the ballpark. instead, they all left early to head back to the windy city for his funeral.

cubs are all class.

One of the most ironic aspects concerning his death was the fact that it occurred as a result of a bomb going off, quite a large, 5 star bomb.

One thing is for sure...

He will be missed. The start of this thread is a perfect example. He was loved by many. I too had a man crush on him.

I've been playing his favorite CD all day...Kris Kross' "Da Bomb"...the lyrics paints of perfect picture of who 5 star bomb...the man, was.

:Sad Face: I miss the guy.

Always a guy who you could count on for an average performance.

its one thing to die laughing, another finding 6 real friends to carry one's sorry ass.

Eh, I'm feeling pretty good right now...we can just leave it like that. Don't know exactly how much I've had to drink tonight. Enough is a safe answer.

I will say that all the posts I've made tonight are ones that I'd make when 100% sober, though.

Actually, maybe the one I made in this thread would've been more clever/detailed...maybe would've added some shit about how he died from suffocation while his mother was sitting on his face or something.

But I'm hungry and retarded, so I kept it short and sweet.

I also had no recognition of his death. It sucks because I would remember posting back and forth with him awhile back. I didn't know the guy.. but it still affects me.. I hate this kinda of stuff..
