How many hotdogs can you eat in 12 mins?

They broke the record yesterday at 63 dogs. That got me to thinking how many can I eat in that time under best case senario?

If someone offered me 1 mill for everydog I could eat in 12 mins.

I figure im good for about 12 to 13 mill.

How many do you think you can eat for 1 mill a pop?

I would definitely not be classified as a light eater, but I can't imagine eating more than about 5. Even that seems gross.

But I've never attempted anything remotely like that so maybe it is easier than I imagine. Maybe it just requires the proper training.

I can't believe I just used the term "proper training" for this.

By the way, at the competition in New York, are they using the normal pork franks or beef?

You have to remember that they soak the buns in water before they take em down... that makes a big difference as the buns are the part that fill you up the most.

Chop, actually the record is 66. And that is just insane. If you remember they are stuffing entire dogs in their mouth and taking about 3 chews and slugging it down with some water. Crazy stuff. It's hell to put your jaw, throat and system through.

Kobes pukes it all out afterwards too. He drew some criticism for it in the past, but there is no rule against it.

I'm going to guess and say I could do 10 or so. I mean we have 12 minutes, right?!

A kid died trying to imitate these guys in high school. Having trouble finding the article but I know I saw it mentioned prior to yesterdays contest.

Soaking the bun in water is the key. If I really went all out, I think I could get like 16-18 down. Really doesn't take long to eat a hot dog and a drenched bun. Whether or not I could keep them down in my stomach would be another story. Would be stuffed after 5-6

1 mil per dog? I'm sure I'd eat to the point of barfing. But I'm sure I could get 6 or 7 down easy. After that it would be really painful.

I can take it a step futher. I've done it. And I put down 18 dogs in 12 minutes. And actually I think I could've done more but like a retard I didn't let them cool enough so they were burning my mouth.
The key is definatly to soak the buns in water. You can basically just swallow them without really chewing if you do that. And take a bunch of little bites out of the dog insted of a few big bites.
