I bet slightly different amounts with the book but in my documented thread I have almost doubled my bankroll (10K) risking only 2-5 units ($200-500) per game betting almost only money lines, very few parlays, run lines or totals.

My season has been a complete rollercoaster. Huge days, losing and winning.
One key thing for me is finding an agent who has lines I can bet into. I have found that 1st 5 inning lines have been huge moneymakers for me. I discovered the same thing with NBA and CBB, looking at different type wagers has been where I have been most profitable. More than your tradional sides and totals wagers that most look at.

I would like to get back to being comfortable with much less on a game than I became accustomed to....I'm not trying to sound like an ass but, I got use to betting higher than I want to now days....too much stress for me, that I don't need....

For some odd reason I cannot go over the $200 a game amount on all my games. I can (and do) have 30 bets easily a nite but the minute I up all my plays to around $300 a play or so I freak out. I tried it again July 1st and got buried. Found myself watching ths scoreborad all nite and getting pissed. Up until July 1st not a care in the world. I don't ever watch a game (unless my hometeam is playing and that is for rooting purposes). I just want to take this too another level but for some odd reason I can't. I guess that is my breaking point. Been that way for ever.
Patience. Every year it seems I go back and forth with a couple of nice winning streaks that make the difference. You just cant press. Stick to your methods that you believe in and wait for the good run. It is a long season. The key is avoiding the bad run or pressing when things are not going well.

It is (was) between $100-200 a play but tried $200-300 a play and that is where the troble lies.
I was trying to put 80 units a nite into play (on average) but the problem is I can usually only find around 30 bets a nite so I figured the best thing to do was double my bet size or so and the units would come. Ideally I would rather have 70 $100 bets but just cant find that many plays during a nite.
Just seems like simple math. Bet more/win more but the variance is just too high with that many units in play a nite for me. Losing streaks become hazardous to my health (LOL)
Finding a game and you like, not betting on every game, staying away from chalk -90 and up. Also when finding the game you like, look for the bet that has the most value in that game.I also make alot of 25 dollar 2 teamers.

Well this season has been one of the toughest of the last 10 years for me. I have had days where I win $4000 and days where I lose $2000. The $4000 winners are few and far between lately though.
But i am in it for the whole season. The past week has BEEN MUCH easier to cap for some reason though, or at least for me
