He actually came up to the plate with the bases loaded 4 times tonight against the hapless Devil Rays. Amazing. He hit a grand slam the first time. Walked the second time. GIDP the third. K the 4th.

Never seen anyone have that many chances with the sacks full before.

I'm a Crisp fan. I admit it.

He has a really strange batting stance, that gives me the creeps. The way his shoulders are so shrugged up and he holds the bat so close to his head.

But I am glad we have him. His defense and speed have been great. But you are more than right. How many times does a batter come up with bases loaded in a game 4 times?! At least he got that one GS.

I remember a box score of a game where a player had left either 11 or 13 on base.
It might have been someone like Adam Dunn of Cincy, but dont really recall the specifics.
