Dumbass Gore should have put this in his piece of shit documentary.

An inconvient truth I personally did not like this movie, but I would never insult it.

Reviews
The film received a positive reaction from critics. It garnered a "certified fresh" 93% rating at Rotten Tomatoes (as of May 21, 2007), with a 94% rating from the "Cream of the Crop" reviewers. Film critics Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper gave the film "two thumbs up". Ebert wrote: "In 39 years, I have never written these words in a movie review, but here they are: You owe it to yourself to see this film. If you do not, and you have grandchildren, you should explain to them why you decided not to."

Journalist Ronald Bailey argued in the libertarian magazine Reason that although "Gore gets [the science] more right than wrong," he exaggerates the risks.

Awards
The film has received a number of various awards worldwide.

Al Gore during the acceptance speech for "An Inconvenient Truth" with other members of the crewThe film won the 2007 Academy Award for Documentary Feature[28] and Best Original Song for Melissa Etheridge's "I Need to Wake Up".[29] It is the first documentary to win a best original song Oscar.
The film received special recognition from the Humanitas Prize, the first time the organization had handed out a Special Award in over 10 years.

Of course it won best documentary. He is a former Vice President of the United States, a lot of people are going to buy into that. Should they necessarily believe it though? Absolutely not.

Ive lost my sense of humor I guess. I have no idea why a guy in a polar bear costume shaving himself is funny.

Right, people frequently misdirect their anger. Here is another example, "Triumph of the Will" is a highly critically acclaimed movie.

Umm, pretty sure it's not "a piece of shit"

I think some people think it's "a piece of shit" not because it doesn't contain truth but because it passes itself off as a definitive piece while getting the science wrong in part of the movie. Getting the science "more right than wrong" means that it contains factual errors.

Film critics don't represent the general public and are often liberal so of course they embrace this piece of liberalism. Those of us who insist that the science that is presented be totally factual consider it to be dishonest.

How's everyone doing up north today?

It's supposed to get down to 5 degrees here in DC. I don't think I've ever been in weather that cold. It's supposed to be 18 in Jacksonville, Florida (hometown), so not too much different.

I'll be in Sarasota this weekend. Supposed to be 86 on Friday....over 80 degrees difference! Looking forward to a nice, warm weekend in the Sunshine State!!!
