Is wearing a authentic sports jersey okay for the 30 and over crowd?

Looking to get a NFL authentic jersey to lounge around the house on NFL Sunday's. Not sure if this is acceptable to wear out in public (I am 36), espically not on gameday.

Have never owned one. I bought some half ass jersey (Barry Sanders) back when I was 20 but not since then.

I generally don't care what others think but wondering if you laugh at 30 something's wearing NFL (or MLB) jerseys out in public.

I use to wear all that stuff when I was 18-25, even before it was everywhere....I would never wear a uniform with someone else's name on the back, that is for sure.

I don't laugh at those who do but, it's not my thing....I don't have a problem with those who do, I think it's kind of cool when someone is wearing a vintage uniform.

I was looking at them the other day at a Finish Line store, and I just said no. This just isnt me anymore.

But I used to wear them like crazy in my 20's.

I never owned a baseball one. I always wanted one. Thats what I was looking at. I just decided it wasnt cool.

I guess I'd might wear one if I was going to a game. (maybe) I'd still rather wear the team shirt though.

No way in hell I would wear one around the house, on a date, family function, going shopping, etc. I'm just too old for it.

I could see Kojak decked out in Pujols...without question!

I could see him going to a school function for his kids, maybe a Christmas program and take his jacket off and have on an Albert Pujols.

No . People who wear laker jerseys with Bryant on back look like retards who cant think for themself as to what is cool to wear ..they need to have the latest fad. I cant imagine waliking up to a girl with one of those on and looking cool. Just my opinion

I'll wear one just about anywhere. Not saying it's cool or in style or anything, I just dress casually all the time and like to wear them, they are comfortable. In fact I'm going to play poker in an hour or two with my #55 Derrick Brooks jersey on. Guess I'm just too old to give a fuck any more.

Nothing wrong with wearing a jersey on gameday, hell, when I go tailgaiting on NFL sunday its about a solid 40k all wearing some sort of jersey
