Let me get this straight. The Angels have 12 more victories than the Yankees, yet are +185 dogs? I assume that's because of Ervin Santana's futility on the road. Check out these numbers, however:

Other than Derek Jeter, no Yankee who has more than three at-bats against Ervin Santana hits better than .222 against him. This includes A-Rod (.083), Jorge Posada (.167), Hideki Matsui (0-for-6), Johnny Damon (.182) and Robinson Cano (.222).

Meanwhile, the Angels regulars are a combined 15-of-43 (.349) versus Chuck Wang.

I'm with you on the Yanks. Santana is 4-0 in 4 starts against the Yankees in his career and the Angels always play NY tough.

i like angels...just hard to pull the trigger on santana on the road...evne being 4-0 against the yanks....do then angels need to travel back to la as a team before the break..or can they leave for vacation right from ny??
