This just feels like another one of those bad days in gambling..

- Cubs didn't show up today to play.
- Cleveland couldn't get a run w/ bases loaded, 0-0, in the top of the 9th and rolls over to give Toronto the win.
- Zito gave the game away to the Cards.
- Boston on the verge of blowing my Detroit play as well..
:WTF::nohead::bigfinger:realtongu:nopityA::smoker2:

anyone else get the same feeling?

Like I said in the 'salami' thread.
The feeling here is/was that 80 % of the MLB players are thinking get away day, 4 day vacation, and will mail it in.

use whatever excuse you'd like, these guys play 162 games a season, we are at the midway point. This shit is not that out of the ordinary when you consider they play almost every day and how long the season is.

I never used an excuse as to why I am having a bad day in bases, I merely pointed out that these team were unable to execute when it came down to it and could not get that win. If you're getting paid millions of dollars to play baseball (70 games or 162 games) you're not being paid to lose. I understand that you can't win them all the games that they play but you can't use it as a scapegoat to say that these teams were expecting to lose when everyday you play to win.
