I think the purpose of Pappi's thread was whether or not the game would go over or under the 8.5 run total; not whether or not Maddux would throw a no-hitter. :think2:

I took a beating trying to go against SIA's "soft" lines. Alth.ough you would have done very nice with Washingotn and Pittsburgh today - line was off nearly $15 cents in each.

ATL O/U
=> on the road when the total is 8 to 8.5 this year: 9-2.
=> as a road underdog of +100 to +125 this season: 11-3.

All games at SAN DIEGO over the last 3 seasons:
=> 7 of 11 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons . (Over=+2.6 Units)

I liked the under to begin with. I have a local and several offshore books, but I find myself placing over 50% of my bets at SIA since I am mostly a dog/contrarian player. You are right about going against the soft lines and getting crushed. I have had a pretty horrible week do exactly that. Hope to turn things around with Sask pk, Phil/Geor under 115, and under ATl 8.5.:toast:
