This is the second time I've run into problems trying to get my bonus from 5 Dimes. Bonuses arent a big deal to me just simply that....a bonus. So, it is really sad with the market the way it is that these offshore places treat their customers like crap.

When I first deposited with them, I asked if I would get a bonus. The clerk said yes after a 5X rollover. Well, guess what? After my rollover was complete, no bonus. I called and their CS said I never requested the bonus and that a week had passed and it was too late!!! Well, after battling back and forth and finally speaking to a manager I got the bonus.

Two weeks ago I called CS to tell them I was going to deposit $800+. I asked if I would receive a bonus on this. I was told yes, once the 5x rollover was complete. I was not told of any other stipulations. Well, I hit the rollover, and once again, no bonus! So, now, I chat with a CS rep today. Here is the transcript:

Abby: Sir when you make a payout for you to be eligible to get bonuses again you have to cover the amount requested on the payout as soon as you do it, you can get bonus on your future deposits, you don't receive bonus on the $800 because your last payout was for $1500
halfdollar09: I was not told this. At the time of deposit the clerk told me I would get my bonus on the $800. It is always something with you guys regarding these bonuses. It is $80! It is not like it is $1000 bonus.

halfdollar09: I ask every time when I deposit. I get told I will receive a bonus once the rollover is met.

halfdollar09: Then you need to get better customer service reps to inform your customers. Had I known that I would have made a deposit of $1500.

This is a sad way to run a business if you ask me. I take it upon myself having not read the rules, but I did ask about the bonus to make sure I did everything properly to receive it. I was not told by the CS rep that I had to depsoit $1500 to receive the bonus. These rules are set up this way to screw the players out of their bonuses period. Any stupid little flaw or loopholoe they can find you will get abused. I am sick of it.

5dimes has some of the worst CS reps in the biz. Some are very rude while others are great

I agree 100% with you max.

God forbid you should get Matt as a CS rep. I always disconnect any chat session when I get him as he is an asshole extraordinaire.

its a great book, but definitley not for their CS



exactly...what the hell customer service is that?!?!? I've run into remarks similar to that on their live chat, and have been shocked (considering the landscape of offshore betting). Especially in comparison to other books.

You have to really check if you got the Bonus. 1.Request it 2. Click on Bonuses 3. If its listed you are good 4. If not call within 24 hrs from deposit to get it done and don't hang up till it's in your account.

Or just ask for Lucy who is the only one that can remember to add your bonus when you deposit.

I will send a link to this thread to the top man at 5Dimes and again remeind all Rxers that if they ever have an issue with an Rx.com sponser you are all free to write me at wilheim@therx.com -- back-up person19481950@yahoo.com and I will be happy to make inquiries in your behalf with the upper management of the book in question.

Please make sure you include your Rx user name and account number at the book in question when you email me with a brief description of the problem.


I know 5Dimes is an excellent out and usually these issues can be straightend out with some communication.

90% of the time the Bonus is not added the first time you ask for it when you give your deposit info. Makes me think this is policy! You have 24 hrs to get it or tough luck! But once you know this its not a big deal.

I don't bother asking anymore. Not worth my time. 10% match play of Western Union deposit after 5times rollover. I do however make sure my WU fees are credited which is just as hard as getting a bonus. You have call back since they always forget!!!!!!!!!

The customer redeemed $1500 on June 11. The customer deposited $800 on June 29. This deposit is not eligible for a bonus based on the above rule listed on the 5Dimes website. Any amount of additional deposit(s) which exceed $700 will qualify for a bonus reward.

I agree 100%. I dont use the chat feature but if he ever answers the phone I also hang up on him. Lucy is the best CS I have ever dealt w/ and love it when I get to deal w/ her.

Hi 5 Dimes Guy--- I totally understand your rules. My problem lies with your customer service reps. Twice now when I asked & requested my bonus I was told I would be receiving it. One I had to fight for and the other I will not be getting. Just like its my responsibility to read the rules/by-laws, it is their responsibility to provide the customers with the correct information when it is in inquired about and or requested.

When I called I provided my account information. I then asked if I would be receiving a bonus on my deposit. I was told yes. The CS rep had all my information at her disposal. She should have told me what you just mentioned in the above post then I wouldve deposited more money in order to receive the bonus. That is all I am saying. I appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on this issue. I enjoy playing at 5Dimes and dont want to be discouraged from playing there in the future.
