If it wasn't for luck he would never lose! Classic Phil. When he wins it's all skill, when he loses you got lucky.

anyone else happy ... i hope they caught his ranting on video lol
Same here. I hope it was a play that got him upset and they caught it on tape.

He usually doesnt get too worked up unless its a final table though.

That episode was on the other night. Fkn hilarious, the guy really was terrible, but funny as hell that he sucked out on Hellmuth. Also the episode of the famous "I can dodge bullets baby". :nohead:

on phil crashing into the lightpole while driving the racecar in the parking lot:

"if it wasn't for luck, Phil would've crashed into all of them"

The title of the thread should have been "WSOP SPOILER: Phil helmuth" or something like that.

Man if you can avoid WSOP news for 2 months then thats a feat.

Are they doing WSOP Main Final Table pay per view again this year?

Mike, I see your point-but in all honesty I think you'd have to unplug yourself from the world to not hear that Phil is out.

Mikes always pissed about something. He needs zoloft or something.

I do see his point though as I would have been pissed if someone did that during Sopranos as I couldnt watch till late.

The year Moneymaker won, some friend of mind told me he read an article about some "nobody" who won the WSOP. I was pissed as hell to find out because back in those days it was relatively easy to keep it a secret.

Nowadays it is impossible to expect people to keep it a secret.

1- There is live reporting on every poker website

2- The final table is broadcast live on PPV. It would be like expecting boxing fans to not talk about a boxing match that was broadcast on PPV because they wanted to wait 2 weeks when it will be re-broadcast on HBO.

3- Once the event is over the results will be reported on all the major outlets (TV, Internet, paper) well before it is on ESPN.
