not at all. I know alot of others that feel the same way. In fact tonite on Detroit sports radio the host actually said it and it got me to thinking.
When he first came along it was different and fun. Now like most things it has run it's course.
I think the whole ESPN crew can has went down a notch (IMO).
I am sick of both of them, their acts got old long, long ago. Madden at least used to provide some insight but even that is lacking now. I honestly can't stand watching games that he does. Often will have the picture and picture going with his game on the side without sound.
When I was a kid, I had to wait till 4 o'clock in the afternoon to get the baseball scores from the night before(this was in the 60's). When Berman and Sportscenter came along, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. For that alone, (and 6 or 7 years I laughed at everything Berman said),before he got old, Berman gets a pass and is allowed to sound as silly as he wants as long as he wants......hell, when I used to eat in the Army Chowhall everyday I got sick as a motherfukker of cheeseburgers...............................you don't see my ass giving up on cheeseburgers.
