So, I was all excited. My wife has a conference in Vegas,
and we have a suite at the Venetian. I was looking forward
to working out each day.

The Venetian charges $35/person/day just to use the friggen
workout facilities. I'm so pissed.

Anyone know of a cheap gym near the venetian? Or maybe another
hotel that will let me use their facilities cheap?

You'll be in Vegas bro, fuck it. You piss 35 dollars.

Take a tour of the facilities first. If it's a nice gym/sauna/pools/etc, I'd see that as a relatively cheap amenity.

Gold's Gym on Flamingo or 24 hour Fitness Maryland and Sahara. Of course once you figure in the taxi fees it will cost you about the same.
Try another hotel and explain to them you are staying elsewhere and are not satisfied with the facilities there.

$15-$40 is pretty standard day charges for gyms in resorts here. Also ask the Venetian manager if you can get a discounted week rate.

Why don't you just work out in your room....you can get a great workout in just doing push-ups, sit-ups, and dips...and might even get creative with some of the hotel furniture.

If you really want, I can try to get you a week or month long pass at 24-hour fitness, but like GD said, the cab ride will cost $$$$. You also might check to see if your gym is affiliated with any near the strip.

I would say it is worth spending that. I have stayed at The Venetian and everything they have to offer is well worth it.
