I don't know what it is but I have a strong feeling that the National League wins the All-Star game.

I can get action on this game at work only thing is odds are EV. Which is cool cause just the other day I had the Yankees at EV when the books had them at -150.....

So anyone else betting the National League?

Kind of confused here...AL looks like the easy bet but for some reason I feel NL pitching is better. Just think Beckett has trouble for some reason. Al seems to be in good shape with Morneau backing up Ortiz..just not crazy about Lowell coming in for Arod. Don't know how many innings Arod will play. I'm debating both sides right now whichever i play is going to be a small play. maybe I'll mix some props in.

by the way how the hell do you have so many posts in a year and a half. I just noticed that.

i see no edge in the side. I'm on the under. 10 is a high # to begin with, and when you factor in Peavy, Sheets, Young, Haren, Beckett, Santana, Verlander, etc... throwing 90+ in the shadows and pitcher's park, where are the runs gonna come from.

Ha...I just realized that this is the 3rd year in a row in an NL park..Damn talk about taking some fun out of the game. The DH should be used in that game no matter where it is played. It would be so much better.

What is the highest total been at San Fran the last few years. 8.5 or 9 I'm guessing

I just noticed the total for the first 5 is 5.5. I would take under there. If you have those pitchers that you just mentioned you will definitely find it hard to score 6 runs on them.

I really like the AL...I don't think the NL lineup looks all that intimidating with Beltran at 3, Griffey at 4, and Wright at 5.

I give the pitching edge to the AL as well. I think Haren has to start well though.

It's all instinct for me bro. Don't make fun:lolBIG:

AL seems like a no brainer to me. I think the public will think so as well. Books get their asses pounded on this one.

I have the Same Feeling....Plus When I see this, Makes you want to Think twice about taking the AL.

**National League manager Tony La Russa has chosen San Diego's Jake Peavy as Tuesday's starter. The young right-hander is 9-3 with a 2.19 ERA this season. He will more than likely be followed by Los Angeles starter Brad Penny, which will make it extremely tough for the American League to hit the ball out of the ball park, as the two have combined to allow just six home runs this season.

BOL !

Bookies clean up tonite as the majority of the $$ will be on the AL and the OVER but I believe the strongest play is on the UNDER. The AL will be facing Peavy and Penny with the pitcher in the sun and the batters in the shade. VERY VERY difficult to hit any ball in that situation. Not sure if anyone here has had the chance to do that, I did and know first hand how hard it is.
