18 home runs at ss......i wanna point out ...since may 25 this guy has hit 3 home runs, and his batting average fell from 305 to 280

hes in the all star game for one reason, he had 15 homers in first 2 months of season......

IVE GOT FUCKIN NEWS FOR U....JIMMY ROLLINS HAS 16 at the break compared to hardy's 18, and at the time of voting , rollins trailed by only 4, so its not like it all occurred after voting was finalized.....rollins 10+ triples!!!! steals bases and has 71 runs scored, the only other player with 70 is another snubee at hardys election, hanley ramirez.

The only other ss with near 10 tripels is jose reyes with 9, who by the way is starting at ss.....

rollins has 22 double compared to hardys 14, rollins killing this guy in extra base hits......

chase utley was a shoe in with 15 homers and 68 rbis.....rollins has 16 Hr from middle infield and leads the league in runs scored, and has 111 hits while utley has 112. HARDY HAS 91

rollins has 53 rbi from the leadoff spot as well as his homer and run total....u know what other mdidle infielder whose been tearing it up also has 52 rbi? dan uggla...legit all star id say with identical homer total, smaller average.

rollins has similar 53 rbi total to pujols, beltran, david wright, aramis ramirez, carlos delgado, todd helton. and hardy, who has 1 more than rollins.
O yeh, rollins is 3rd in stolen bases FOR SHORTSTOPS as well....behind the only other 2 deserving ss, aforementioned ramirez and reyes.......

If u r gonna snub hanley and jimmy rollins, how the fuck do u not give the spot to a veteran clutch hitter with better over all numbers than hardy like renteria?

Hardy is a complete fucking joke, and does not belong in this game....In addition, i think jimmy rollins being left out here, , other than some pitching omissions, is the biggest position player snub of this entire game.

hey homer,
you are correct w/the stats, but fans dont recognize what a guy does in june. they watch more in the beginning and then get bored. the phillies started off horrible and are just now at .500 where as milwaukee has been there all season. if rollins, and howard for that matter, would have contributed more the full course of the season maybe phila would be in a better position.

Hardy is having a good year. He's not having as good a year as Rollins. Yes, Rollins should be there instead of him but Hardy is also playing on a first place team.

Hardy careered out of his ass in the first half of the season. Actually the first couple months like you said Zeke. I think Rollins or Hanley are way more deserving than Hardy.

Brewers SS J.J. Hardy has not hit a home run since June 25 and is batting .138 (4-for-29) in the team's last nine games.

Fantasy owners were eager to know at the beginning of the season if Hardy would be able to keep up his amazing numbers, and it appears we have our answer -- no. Hardy is seeing his Fantasy value drop with every week. He still remains a viable Fantasy option at this time, but how much longer we will be able to say that is anybody's guess.

Jimmy Rollins just homered to give phils 1 run lead...and has 18 homers....tied with jj hardy.....who hasnt homered in long time......and has hit 3 homers in 2 months....

by seasons end..people will be laughing about the fact that this guy was an all star

Not to mention he has 26 HR's. Sure to be 30 for the season. Not too shabby

This is an example of the post I just made in another bumped old thread.

Reason I edit the title of these bumped thread with the "Little Old White Bearded Man" icon. I never change the actual titles.

<table bgcolor="#cecece" border="0" height="1" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td>
</td></tr> </tbody></table>
A real classic bumped for no reason we have here NOT, it's is plain and simple just OLD useless information...Which is why you see the "Little Old White Bearded Man" icon to warn you the thread is over a year old and in many case up 8 years old..

Please do not be confused by the early posts in these "Old Man" Icon threads as the information is often way outdated and in some cases about players playing for different teams or just bumped to embarrass a poster who may have predicted a great or poor future for a team or player only to see the opposite happen years later. Whats classic about them is they are perfect examples of 20-20 hindsight.

Seldom do you see a thread bumped after a poster makes an accurate prediction (unless the thread was started by the poster doing the bumping) that turned out extremely accurate years later..

Trust me, having to run these down every morning at 5AM my time is no picnic..

Thanks, wilheim
