5 DIME

American League

Note:

Was a fantastic finish to the 1st half.

I said the Friday before the break that I always rally the last 3 days before the break it seems like every year and that is exactly what I did here.

Friday went 3-3 but 2 of those 3 winners were top play 10 dimers and made it a +4 dime night.

Saturday I stepped out putting 60 dimes of action on the table and go 5-1 hitting and picking up +48 dimes.

All 3 top play winners deliver with a 20 dimer on the Giants, 15 dimer on the Rockies and a 10 dimer on the White Sox.

Then Sunday I hit my 1st half game of the year winner for the 12th time in the last 13 years courtesy of that 30 dime winner on the White Sox.

It all adds up to a 3-day run of 9-4 good for +82 dimes.

Now is when it gets really fun.

I wasn't shy about telling the world that I own the month of July. 14 straight years I have won this month highlighted by winning 20 of 31 days last year good for +200 dimes on the nose.

This year at the break, 6 of 8 winning days good for +93 dimes. Exactly where I want to be folks, exactly where I want to be.

Furthermore, I have turned a profit 4 of 6 months this year and July looks like it will be 5 of 7. A career for some guys but not me. It is what thousands of people have counted on by joining me longterm.

They have put their trust and faith in me, stayed with me through thick and then and because of that faith, they have been rewarded bigtime.

My numbers are as real as the air you breathe. They are consistent and they all say the same thing.

I make people money on a longterm basis. Always have and always will. The only thing stopping you from being one of those people is yourself.

It's your lack of faith. It is your lack of committment. Your lack of trust.

Allow me to put all that to rest for you and you have all the validation and documentation you need on my webpage. All you need.

Just step up and let me make you the winner you have always dreamed of being.

Now let's get to my 9th straight all star winner right now.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

They have won 9 in a row and 11 of the last 13. I don't see any reason why they won't make it 10 in a row tonight and 12 of 14.

First of all, they dominated Interleague play again.

The AL went 137-115 against the NL.

Furthermore, the American League had 9 teams with a winning record in Interleague play and 8 of those were 2 or more games above .500.

As for the National league, only 6 teams with a winning record and of those 6, only 2 of them were 2 or more games above .500.

I like the guys who will be pitching late for the American league, guys like Okajima, Papelbon and the guy who will close the game for the American League, J.J. Putz.

I will tell you exactly what I told you last year, you ride the American League again and until the National league shows me they can win this game, I will keep riding the streak.

As far as my choice for MVP, I will look to maybe Ichiro to get a couple of early hits and score a couple of runs to get the AL out in front.

If not him, big Papi David Ortiz to hit an early bomb, maybe two off these right hand flame throwers of the NL.

Lastly, much like Michael Young who stole it late last year, look for maybe a Alex Rios or a Grady Sizemore to do the same this year.

Enjoy the game folks and when the smoke clears, I like the American League to win it.....

Final Score...8-7

I always like when some one has a one run game, yet the project the over/under to be 50% above/under the total.

Seems like over 10 should be a no-brainer with Lang.

Based on Bonds', it's really hard to judge the balls when you're batting. I was personally thinking the under.

All-Star Game

20 Dime

AMERICAN LEAGUE
Take the American League for the win tonight in the All-Star game.
It’s hard to ignore the disparity between the two leagues right now, so I don’t see any reason why we should buck the trend and side with the senior circuit tonight.
The American League has won four consecutive All-Star games and is 9-0-1 in the last 10. What’s more, seven of the nine victories have come by more than one run.
Going back further, the AL has won 17 of the last 24 meetings, plus the one infamous push in 2002.
You can search high and low and you won’t find any supporting evidence that the National League is capable of hanging with the junior circuit. The American League has dominated interleague play the last two seasons, going 154-98 in 2006 and 137-115 this year.
Take the American League for the win as they gain home-field advantage in the World Series once again.
