HONDO

July 10, 2007 -- Hondo has good, bad and ugly news to report on yesterday's foray into animal racing. THE GOOD: Due to excessive warmth, the card at Delawuss Park was canceled, which prevented Mr. Aitch from losing on the exacta box/pipe dream doled out by Anthony Af frunti, the Post's puny pony picker (if the diet works). THE BAD: Lavec Dream, a Debbie Little offering, failed miserably in the fifth at Monticello. THE UGLY: Mr. Aitch is now 400 baezas south of the border.

Today, he'll give Debbie, the handicapperette for merly known as the Queen of Monticello, a chance to redeem herself with Financial Aid in the 11th at Monti - five units.

Tonight, it's back to the diamond district for his annual plunge on the Mid-Slumber Classic. Ten units on the AL to stick it to the NL in San Fran

(601) SEA Storm
(602) LA Sparks

Take "(601) SEA Storm"

To say the LA Sparks miss Guard Chamique Holdsclaw would be quite an understatement. Holdsclaw abruptly retired just five games into this season, leaving the Sparks without their top scorer (15.8 ppg). Holdsclaw, one of the top scorers in U of Tennessee history, was a 6-time All-Star in the WNBA and rookie of the year in 1999. When Holdsclaw retired, the Sparks were 3-2 on the season. Since then, the Sparks have gone on to a 4-9 record. Replacing a player who averaged 17.7 ppg and 8.4 rebounds per game is difficult in any league, but in the WNBA it might just be the end to the season for the Sparks. The Seattle Storm have already beaten the Holdsclaw-less Sparks twice; 83-71 in LA and 90-71 in Seattle. Looks like win number three on board tonight

Today's Lock: American League -150

The American League is stacked! From top to bottom it is better than the National League. And the American League has better pitchers. This will be yet another win for the superior American League.

All-Star Game...

20 Dime –

AMERICAN LEAGUE
Take the American League for the win tonight in the All-Star game.
It’s hard to ignore the disparity between the two leagues right now, so I don’t see any reason why we should buck the trend and side with the senior circuit tonight.
The American League has won four consecutive All-Star games and is 9-0-1 in the last 10. What’s more, seven of the nine victories have come by more than one run.
Going back further, the AL has won 17 of the last 24 meetings, plus the one infamous push in 2002.
You can search high and low and you won’t find any supporting evidence that the National League is capable of hanging with the junior circuit. The American League has dominated interleague play the last two seasons, going 154-98 in 2006 and 137-115 this year.
Take the American League for the win as they gain home-field advantage in the World Series once again.

5 DIME

American League

Was a fantastic finish to the 1st half.

I said the Friday before the break that I always rally the last 3 days before the break it seems like every year and that is exactly what I did here.

Friday went 3-3 but 2 of those 3 winners were top play 10 dimers and made it a +4 dime night.

Saturday I stepped out putting 60 dimes of action on the table and go 5-1 hitting and picking up +48 dimes.

All 3 top play winners deliver with a 20 dimer on the Giants, 15 dimer on the Rockies and a 10 dimer on the White Sox.

Then Sunday I hit my 1st half game of the year winner for the 12th time in the last 13 years courtesy of that 30 dime winner on the White Sox.

It all adds up to a 3-day run of 9-4 good for +82 dimes.

Now is when it gets really fun.
I wasn't shy about telling the world that I own the month of July. 14 straight years I have won this month highlighted by winning 20 of 31 days last year good for +200 dimes on the nose.
This year at the break, 6 of 8 winning days good for +93 dimes. Exactly where I want to be folks, exactly where I want to be.
Furthermore, I have turned a profit 4 of 6 months this year and July looks like it will be 5 of 7. A career for some guys but not me. It is what thousands of people have counted on by joining me longterm.
They have put their trust and faith in me, stayed with me through thick and then and because of that faith, they have been rewarded bigtime.
My numbers are as real as the air you breathe. They are consistent and they all say the same thing.
I make people money on a longterm basis. Always have and always will. The only thing stopping you from being one of those people is yourself.
It's your lack of faith. It is your lack of committment. Your lack of trust.
Allow me to put all that to rest for you and you have all the validation and documentation you need on
