IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR HD EQUIPMENT

DIRECTV will be launching more than 70 HD channels this fall and will have the capacity to offer 150 HD channels by the end of 2007.*

In order to access this new HD programming, you must have a B-Band Converter (BBC) module connected to your HD receiver. (If you have a DIRECTV Plus HD DVR, you will need two BBCs.) Because current DIRECTV HD channels do not require a BBC, it may not have been installed, but you will need a BBC installed by this fall.

my direct has not got out once sinc i got the hd setup, you might want to have someone check your dish placement

mine goes out so rarely i don't even notice. The HD is the best thing to ever happen to TV, its fabulous.

HD is the best, and if they really do come out with that many HD channels I will stay with Dtv after my move this September. I'll believe it when I see it though, they've been promising more HD channels for years now. Otherwise, FIOS here I come.
