53-49 +48.93 Units YTD

5 Units - 9-2 (+33.64 Units)
4 Units - 4-3 (+3.68)
3 Units - 14-8 (+23.49)
2 Units - 12-21 (-14.57)
1 Unit - 14-15 (+3.25)

Lets get to 50 units...

Chicago White Sox +119 (Buehrle) 4 Units Bedard is dynamite but as a follower of the Sox I can say they tend to struggle more so against garbage pitching and excel more so against a quality pitcher on the mound. But really this is strictly a value play because I am getting +119 with Mark B on the mound against a bad team, and I know the Sox are bad as well. The White Sox offense may have turned it around but that bullpen is still awful. If they can get two parts of the team going they could be OK... Buehrle may be the best pitcher in baseball right now giving up 7 ER's in his last 6 starts. His ERA is dropping below three and he has a lot of confidence right now. Think this will be a low scoring game and think Mark B can go 8 and get to Jenks w/o relying on the rest of the shaky bullpen.

Tampa +131 (Kazmir) 3 Units This is an absolute pitching match up. Kazmir is young and up and coming ace and Clemens is a fading star who doesn't have it anymore. My only fear is that he can use the D-Rays youth against them to get this win but I think Kazmir vs. Clemens is an absolute mis match and I think Tampa should be close to even money.

Detroit -108 (Bonderman) 2 Units Detroit is the better team and they have the better pitcher on the mound. End of story.

Texas +178 (Millwood) 2 Units It is a new start to the season and Millwood can be great in any given start. Hope I picked one of his few great ones because he may be going up against the best team in the AL. But I think Texas has a decent chance at victory.

wtf...... did you see Roger pitch against the Angels saturday.... wtf... Boy Tampa may win but your write ups are bad. Just say you think Tampa is a great play with the value instead of posting junk.,.... :think2:

Win or lose, no way Nyy money with the best modern pitcher on the mound and best modern hitter lets this "close at even money" Much to learn about line movement.

Not sure you really care but I don't really write this summer. I get some pointers but I am a little bitch of the company. I work from like 9-5 5 days a week and have to go in every other Sunday to go over w/ my boss how the Sunday paper is made up and how it worked and blah blah...

It is interesting but they would never let an intern write anything. I get to write fake feature pieces every Friday and have to do investigative reporting and have quotes from people involved in the story and shit... It is a good time but IGNORE this thread I have another one

I don't live in the city... I live slightly outside it like 15 minutes... closest western suburb... I commute and i still live at home. I am going to be a junior in college so no point in moving out yet...

The only good thing about this job besides the obvious things... are 1/2 the day I'm on the computer doing some projects and random shit like that... but I got to head out now it is time for me to be the lunch bitch...

I live in the Oak Park area.

not far from goldyburger

really right by the bowling alley? Not bad... Good burgers there... and right by the train stop... I live in River Forest... Try Kebels not a bad bar to drink at randomly.. we know the owner so some kids go in there occasionally but usually an older person bar... or Madison street a lot of college kids there during the summer...

Good area and right by the city... Try Johnnies beef on North Avenue they say it is the best beef sandwich in the world... When you travel out of town and tell people where you live by occasionally people know where it is... And Alpine food shop has great subs... two best places for lunch around...

I'll have to try Johnnies...never been there. Been to Kevils. Another RX poster, Sinatrac is boys with the owner...i randomly went there for dinner some weekday and it was all old people. But I was walking by there on a satruday night once and the bar area was packed. I usually just end up going out in the city though cause most of my friends live there.

where is alpine food shop?

where is alpine food shop?

A block down from Johnnies beef... A block west... those two places are usually packed if you don't mind lines go to Johnnies whenever... Lunch time the place can be backed up past the parking lot... especially on a warm day... During random hours it isn't bad and it is open until midnight... Great beef and Italian Ice... fries and dogs aren't bad either...

Alpine is pretty much just subs but it is a damn good place... I'm only 20 so I don't like going into the city for bars because of obvious reasons, such as getting my fake taken... Kevil's has its nights... But the owner is a cool ass dude so it works out... It is a good area a lot to do... I would try both those places you'll love em...

Let me know how it goes... but I actually have to get back to work now... only 3 hours left until the weekend... have a good one

And as I said Madison street bars can be popping on certain nights but some nights it can be old ass townies... But if you get a good night a lot of college kids are there... I usually go every other weekend or so with about 10 people... not bad... Healys is a nice bar
