For once, let me ask you a question. Where do you get all the time to do all the stuff you say you do, its like you need 30 hours a day 10 days a week. Maybe your just a spieler with plenty of time on your hands, no doubt that would be the jolly with the books.

I think the only problem I could see you having becoming a great poker player and not just a slightly profitable one, is that to be great you need to be creative and mix up the game depending on opponents, and this could clash with what seems to be a rather systematic approach you have to most endeavors.

Great diplomatic post saying what I said crudely. I must say sorry for having a go at you a couple of months ago when you hit a nerve. I've always appreciated your posts especially those team totals in games, maybe you had a bad run but thats the way it goes when you post on here. Any chance of starting it up again because it was sharp stuff regardless of results :103631605

dont do the camps. you have to learn on your own and basically that means playing a lot of hands. ive always felt that it in poker it is required to lose to become better. going through a tough stretch of cards will happen from time to time and i always find that i am better afterwards. you cant learn this stuff in a classroom youve gotta put in the hours.

Ice I see no need at all for a "camp" Like it was said in earlier post, There is no "system in poker. You must make plays at the pot. You need to play different styles at different times.

You want to shake things up some try to be in a live game. Nothing better than playing poker and watching the tigers on a nice plasma TV.

When I quit drinking a few years ago I realzied I could get alot more accomplished.:toast:

In all seriousness I never said I did it. I asked if anyone else had did it.

I have few interests, a couple of my buddies rip me for this but the interests I have I usually go at them pretty hard. That is the way I have always been.

that is why I want to learn to be a better poker player so I can learn the basics cold and then adjust and add some creative things to it. Right now I am far from that.

It's funny you think this non creative way about me. In my company there are over 90 contracts in our company nationwide and I run 1 of the top 3 systems profit wise. I have came up with more creative ideas and theories than 95% of our managers in our company. Ideas that have been adopated in almost all of our systems throught the U.S. I am a huge out of the box thinker in most all phases of my life.

Like I said earlier if I am excited I will put forth more thought and ideas than almost anyone to any project, the problem is getting excitited about it.

Only if they had some type of camp to explain how/when to make these moves.

Great ponit Levi. This is why I like live games. To see the mannerisomes (sp) of people is a help to know when to do it. To see a guy squirming in his chair is a good time when to make a play at him. I feel the it seems the more they have body movement is a sign of no confidence in thier hand.

Nobody can play poker perfect all the time. Hell I have only won 4 out of 8 times playing the last month, but I am still well up since I have started playing more and more.
