I fill in and answer the phones for a local on occasion. The amount of awful bettors is staggering. They bet more "because it's the weekend", they take inflated lines...because "thats the line right"? They of course, chase when they are down, and if you asked them who is pitching tonight, half would not know, and say something like "it doesn't matter, the Yankees are hot"! The bookies are safe..
Yeah my first bookie waaaaay back in time was a gruff SOB and I'd call and say not a good day all the favs won huh?
