Should I go to my high school reunion?

Got my 10 year tonight... at some random bar in Arlington, VA.

Didn't really care too much about high school in general, I keep in touch with
maybe two people since I graduated, out of 400 in my graduating class. In fact, I hate pretty much 95% of all the people I went to high school with (actually, i hate 95% of all the general population, go figure).

The upside is $15 admission for all you can drink I believe.

Any input?

Go....it's a freak show to see what people look like now. Plus you'd be amazed at who has made it big versus who is a total ghoul.

If you are in a better place in life than you think the majority of the douchebags you don't want to see are and want them to know it, go. Or, if there are people you actually want to see, go. otherwise, f* it

Sounds laid back cause of the at the bar thing. I would go. When you start playing all dress up and fancy you end up turning people off, espcially at a 10 year reunion when most people are still trying to find themselves.

I never went to any reunions but I did meet up with others at a bar after the reunion and we had a good time. It seems to me you guys are skipping all the formal crap and going right to a bar.

Juice, I would definatly go. I missed mine and I regret it.

It's only 15 bucks, you can always leave after you get a peek at the faces.

I'm sure you will see someone you dont mind chatting it up with.

Right now I'm leaning towards going for about an hour or so, I'll get my girl to drive me there...

I can't stop thinking about that Enterprise commercial when that fat tool rents a sedan to go to his reunion and has two girls on his arms.

That was going to be me at my 25th this year. Only problem is no reunion.

i had a 5 and 10 year HS reunion, went to both and LOVED them. Also went to a 16 year reunion gathering from my grade school that was a blast.

After I went to my 10 year (which I initially wasnt going to attend) I was happy I did.

Go ahead and go.

People you disliked and vice versa have probably changed.

Take Raj with you so nobody else will be the biggest loser at the event.

I almost went to my 50th, by year of entry, but decided transatlantic in November was too much of a drag even given the interest in who had still made it.

BTW: Its a real sit down dinner.
