“You call, it’s gonna be all over, baby!” This was Scotty Nguyen’s famous quote during the last hand of 1998 World Series of Poker main event. Opponent Kevin McBride did call, and it was over. Nguyen won the World Series of Poker championship bracelet, and has not looked back since. Scotty was born Thuan Nguyen in Vietnam on Oct. 28, 1962. At the ripe old age of 14, he boarded a ship and sailed to the United States. At the suggestion of an employer, Thuan decided to go by the name Scotty, because it was easier to pronounce. Along with the main-event win, he has cashed in more than 100 major tournaments. He has won three other WSOP bracelets, in the 1997 Omaha eight-or-better, 2001 pot-limit Omaha, and 2001 Omaha eight-or-better tournaments. Nguyen recently won the 2006 WPT World Poker Open. He has collected more than $5.5 million in tournament cashes.

Of course I know who Scotty Nguyen is, but he is shortstacked. I was referring to Watkinson because at the time of my post, Nguyen was real shortstacked..
Watkinson has won over 2.7 million in poker tournaments and doesnt even play that often.

watkinson is probably one of the top 2 players famous players left. Nowadays its tough to say who is really the best player. Some of the best players in the world weren't even known 12 months ago. Its very likely that some of these no name players at the top of the leaderboards may very well be better than most think.
